The LEVE candlesticks, created by renowned designer Birgitte Due Madsen for Mor Design, are inspired not only by her previous work focusing on geometry and abstract sculptural fragments, but also by Italian old masters such as Tobia Scarpa, Futurist architecture and Brutalism. The designer reduced her sculptures to smaller pieces and gave them a direct function and purpose, viewing them as fragments that can be separated. LEVE candle holders are available in three sizes - for wick candles, pillar candles and block candles, and are carved from limestone with natural color variations, making each candle holder unique.
