Jürgen Cramer’s copper vases emerge from a repoussé process that explores the malleability and vulnerability of this ancestral metal. Inspired by close observation of nature—its flowers, leaves, and landscapes—they evoke its diversity, imperfection, and constant transformation. Each piece bears the marks of gesture and material, embracing oxidation as part of its journey, where patina becomes an expression of time and life inscribed in matter.
