The wicker vase Faia evokes the feminine realm through a subtle balance between robustness and grace, between strength and movement. Its sculptural presence conveys the memory of gesture and the intelligence of the material. It holds fragments of knowledge from many hands — from anonymous basket weavers, the “Marias Faia”. Guided by a cradle-to-cradle logic, the piece extends the material cycle, where every remnant finds form anew in future creations.
