Product Description

The bottle-shaped vases are inspired by a collection of plastic waste from the Maas River in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. After reading about the plastic soup, Foekje Fleur began looking more closely at the river that runs through her hometown and found plastic waste that had been accumulating there since the 1960s. By creating durable porcelain copies of the material she finds, Foekje Fleur is raising awareness of this growing problem.
