Pink Wave, Incense Altar

The Pigmentarium Incense Altar, created by renowned porcelain designer and educator Daniel Piršč , presents an unexpected concept of porcelain, which in itself serves as an aesthetic element, regardless of its original purpose. It is not just a functional object, but a unique work of art. The rounded shapes and the transformative power of the metallic finish blur the boundaries and mix fantasy with the reality of the external environment. Two forms associate a fluid mass, into which a fragrant stick is inserted. In one case, by vertical free fall, appearing to fall through the altar; in the second case, an illustration of the movement of the stick along a lateral trajectory, deforming the material in front of it. You can choose one of three colors, but they never completely define the final form. No two pieces are the same. Where the surface curves more, the colors change, giving each piece a completely unique appearance.
